Gutter Cleaning for Clogged,
Overflowing Gutters in Washington County
Gutter cleaning clears the debris that clogs your gutters and downspouts. After a Washington County storm, a packed gutter overflows instead of draining, and a plugged downspout keeps it full. At Pro Kleen Industries, we fix that the thorough way. We hand-clean every gutter, flush the gutters and downspouts, and water-test the whole system before we leave. If your gutters are backing up, call us at (724) 344-2534.
The Gutter
Types We Clean
Whatever your gutters are made of, the job is the same: hand-cleaned, flushed, and water-tested. The material doesn’t change the care.
Sectional Aluminum
Old-style sectional aluminum is one of the two gutter types you’ll find on almost every home around here. We clean it out by hand and flush every run.
Seamless Aluminum
Newer seamless aluminum is the other common type. It gets the same full clean, flush, and test as sectional.
Copper
Copper gutters are rare here, and we clean them the same careful way.
Half-Round
Half-round gutters turn up now and then. We hand-clean and flush them like any other run.
Steel
Steel gutters are uncommon on local homes. They get the same clean, flush, and test.
Why Homeowners Choose Gutter Cleaning
That Goes Past the Leaves
Picking the leaves out isn’t the job. Making sure water actually flows is. Here’s what sets our gutter cleaning apart.
Every Gutter and Downspout Flushed and Tested
We don’t cut corners to save time. We flush and water-test every gutter and downspout before we leave. The downspout is the part most companies skip, and that’s the part that matters. A clogged downspout means your gutters refill at the first rain, no matter how clean the troughs look.
We Tell You What We See Up There
Most people call because they don’t want to get up on a ladder, or they’re not sure what’s wrong in the first place. While we’re up there, we look the whole system over. Whatever we find, you hear about it before we pack up.
Plain Water Only, No Chemicals
We flush your gutters with plain water, without adding cleaning chemicals. It’s the simplest way to do the job right.

How a Gutter Cleaning Goes,
From Estimate to Water Test
Here’s what a gutter cleaning looks like from the first call to the last walk-around.
The Free Estimate by Phone or Online
Call, text, or use the web form, and we’ll answer live whenever we can. Gutter jobs are simple enough to quote by phone or online. Your estimate is itemized in writing, so you can see what’s included and what isn’t.
Scheduling and Three Heads-Ups
Once you accept the estimate, we schedule the job and confirm it by text and email. You’ll get a reminder the day before and a text about two hours out. If the forecast turns, we’ll call to reschedule rather than show up in the rain.
Starting at the Problem Spot
Your technician introduces himself by name and takes a quick walk with you to hear what’s bothering you. If you’ve got an overflowing corner or a downspout that won’t drain, that’s where we start.
Ladders, or the Roof When It's Safe
Every job gets laddered. We’ll walk the roof only when the pitch and conditions are safe, with fall protection on. If it’s steep, icy, or the middle of winter, we work the whole house from ladders instead.
Hand-Cleaning and Bagging the Debris
We clean out every gutter by hand. The debris goes into bags and leaves with us, so nothing ends up in your beds or on your lawn.
Flushing the Gutters and Downspout Filters
Next we flush all the gutters with water. We pull and clean the downspout filters, then flush every downspout so water runs clear from the roof to the ground.
The Water Test and a Look at the System
Before we call it done, we run water through the whole system to confirm everything drains where it should. We also give the gutters a once-over, and anything we notice, we tell you about.
The Final Walk-Around and Payment
We walk the finished job with you before we leave. Payment is due when the work is done: check or cash to your technician, or a card through an invoice we email or text you. If we missed anything, we take care of it on the spot.
What Gutter Cleaning Costs,
by Footage and Stories
Gutter cleaning is priced by how many feet of gutter you have and how many stories your home is. We measure the job so the number is accurate, and the final figure lands on your itemized estimate.
| Pricing | Details |
|---|---|
| $250 | Starting at $250. The rate is set by the linear feet of gutter, and each added story raises it. We measure on site rather than guess, so the price fits your home. |
| Bundle & Save | Bundle pricing. Gutter cleaning is part of our bundle packages alongside house washing, window cleaning, and concrete cleaning, with our largest bundle adding roof cleaning and concrete sealing. Ask about bundle pricing when you get your estimate. |
Our Walk-Around Promise
on Every Gutter Cleaning
Before we leave, we walk the property with you to make sure everything meets your standards. If we missed something, we come back and make it right at no charge. That covers anything our crew missed on the job, and the callback is yours whenever you raise it.

Gutter Cleaning FAQs
Do you repair gutters?
No. We don’t repair gutters, but we look over the whole system while we’re up there. If a gutter is pulled away from the fascia, pitched wrong, or has a cracked seam, we’ll let you know. That way you know what needs attention, even though the fix isn’t part of our job.
Can you clean gutters that have gutter guards?
Yes, with one limit. If your gutter guards are fastened down, we don’t remove them. Older guards tend to fall apart when they come off. We clean the leaves and debris off the top of the guards and still flush out your downspouts. The system still drains the way it should.
How soon can you come out to clean my gutters?
Usually within one to two business days. A lot of calls come in right after a storm, so timing can shift with the backlog, but gutter cleaning is quick to schedule.
How long does a gutter cleaning take?
At least an hour. More downspouts to pull and flush add time. So does a job that has to be done entirely from ladders instead of the roof.
Will my gutters stay clear after you clean them?
We can’t promise new leaves and debris won’t land in them, because that’s up to your trees and the weather. We don’t put a long-term guarantee on a cleaning; we’d rather be straight with you. Calls pick up in the fall and right after storms, which is when gutters fill back up the fastest.
Do I need to be home for my gutter cleaning?
No. We just need access to a working outdoor spigot for the flush. If you’re home, we’ll walk the property with you at the start and finish. If your property is gated, we’ll arrange access ahead of time.
